What Happens To You Or What Do You Do When Depression Sets In?
I feel defeated whenever depression sets in. I can block it out for only a matter of time before it overpowers me. At that point, I ride it out.
I write in my journal about what I am feeling that is making me depressed. I have no to tllk to so I talk to my laptop. lol
I feel like I need to do things to occupy my mind. I go walking, get out my sudoku puzzle book or find small jobs to do.
It's dif per person, but I have a bit of that also and I don't let it get the best of me, I don't like it when It does, but I don't stay at that level,I am also a little anxious too, but do the same thing with it, I hang in there and try and stay pos, so can you, my opinion
If I get depressed or feel the Blues , I always remind myself the good things that I did through my life.
To everyone who’s responded so far, thank you! I find it therapeutic to ‘talk’ about mental health in this space. A lot of people on the outside don’t get it but y’all do. Thank goodness!!!
Like some of you, I live in a rural area. Services are limited, care is questionable, and there are no support groups of any kind. I’ve just recently come to realize that I’m lacking a physical, in-person social/support group.
