Does Grief Effect Your Seizures?

Yes. Grief , depression, sadness, stress , anxiety and other downer type emotions can trigger seizures.

Yes, my Mum's partner died. I went up to Yorkshire to look after her then she died. Within the same month my Aunt and Uncle died.
I never had direct family die in my adult life.
My epilepsy has been well controlled for ages but has now returned.
Some times myoclonic jerks all day.

When I was in high school, I had no seizures. Then my sister died when I was a junior. My mom died 15 months later when I was a senior. I got so upset that my seizures returned.

Yes in my case. When my mom passed it was very difficult. And my seizures increased .
