My Neuro only has a few patients because he teaches so he is learning from his patients and perhaps from his students who ask questions.

Due to the rudeness, arrogance, and (imho) borderline incompetence of the last hospital group, I research everything I'm told and ask questions. Drs. are human also, and make mistakes, have their own 'prejudices' in their specialties and sub-specialties and can have preconceived notions also.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member It's generally recommended you at least do some of your own research anyway I'm not saying to go and treat yourself but when strange terms come up (which happens a lot that's what is worth looking into then go from there. Also try to work out any key questions and write then down before your appointment.

I always check with my doctor before taking any medication the hospital wants to give me.

Depending on who I was seeing have followed the Dr.s instructions.
If had any questions wouldn't hold back from asking. Unfortunately haven't always have good 1's, so would see another. Fortunately haven't always had things bad depending on who was seeing.
