It can be difficult to get approved for social security disability benefits for epilepsy because the Social Security Administration has strict criteria for determining disability. To qualify, you must prove your seizures prevent you from working and performing basic tasks for at least 12 months. You also need medical documentation of your diagnosis and limitations. However, epilepsy is on the Administration's List of Impairments that can qualify someone for disability benefits. It's important to provide thorough medical records and descriptions of your seizures and their impact. You can appeal if initially denied, and many persevering through the process eventually get approved.

How many times have you tried applying for SSI or SSDI ? It can take more than once.
You might want to get hold of a Disability Law Firm and get help that way.

All disability first apps turned down need to resubmit to prove need for. If second one also turned down then there's a problem.

It's dif per person, I had my disability case dismissed the first time I went, but I had the second time approved for me not knowing I had a seizure in front of the judge, I don't know what caused it, but I say hang in there and try and stay pos, my opinion
