The Dr.’s who are trained in understanding Epilepsy have great knowledge on Epilepsy. But, we understand the struggles with the side effects of the AED meds , the emotions involved and ect. We all understand that better, than anyone including our Dr. they aren’t experiencing what we do, because they don’t have this condition.

I only felt I knew more than my PA and I did. He was trying to lower my phenobarbital too fast and I was starting to go through withdrawal.

My doctor's and surgeon are THE BEST! They not only found the cause of my Epilepsy, They found the right surgeries and I am now over 6 years seizure free. It doesn't get better than that!

I do too, agree w/ the reply from them. That's why if you have have any questions or curios your should never hold back on asking any questions to your Dr. If don't understand ask him/her if could inform you more as far as that.
