I take Keppra regular everyday. I am not having any side effects. I had brain surgery and I am still taking the Keppra. This is the medicine that I was on that the doctor said was the least long-term sideeffects. I am now ten years seizure-free

Keppra was bad for me, but great for my brother. I had 2 brain surgeries. And still take a lot of medicine. I am very glad it is working for you

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , I took Keppra in mid 2019 for about 2 months or so & it made me so tired that I had to take a nap every day & eventually I started having trouble sleeping & so I had to get off it. Everyone can react differently to each medication. I never experienced the Keppra Rage or any mood swings while on it, it just made me to tired & then eventually I had trouble sleeping. I wish you luck but just keep a watch incase you begin noticing any side effects that you’re not comfortable with & if you begin to experience any & you give yourself time to adjust to it but still aren’t comfortable then let your doctor know. Good luck. Your friend in Texas, Becky

I have also taken keppra for more than 5 years now but I don't know if some things are side effects of medicine. Like feeling like hurting myself, negative feelings and depression.
