Medical marijuana is used for Epilepsy. You need a script from the Doctor to get it

I got prescription about 7 years ago. Went to a place in MD , I used chews at night. Then ordered in Colorado. . It suddenly didn’t help but new medications came out and they helped better. It definitely is an individual preference and need.

Yes. I was just seeing what my doctor would say. So, I asked if I could get a prescription for pot? My doctor said yes, she would. She also told me it hasn't helped any of her patients that she prescribed pot. Like I said, I was just checking to see what she would say. I don't smoke pot anyway!

Yes, medical marijuana and CBD have been used to treat epilepsy. In 2018, the FDA approved Epidiolex (cannabidiol) to treat Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, Dravet syndrome, and tuberous sclerosis complex. Research suggests medical marijuana may help improve disease outlook for some people with epilepsy, but evidence is still limited. CBD is considered more promising due to potential benefits and fewer risks than smoking marijuana.
