I think this is unknown at this point. This treatment has only been around the last few years and is still being studied and as far as I know it has only just started in Australia. From what I've seen about it so far I'm not sure it would be a cure but it is a very good option for treatment if you need to have it.

I don't think we would know if this would be a cure for a very long time because anyone who has had it would need to go 10 years + seizure free with lots of testing along the way.

It isn’t a cure for Epilepsy. It may give you a percentaged chance of better controlling your seizures to be Seizure Free.
