Just like EricThom said. You need to find a company that franchises, and you have to have money to get started. Yes, you will also worry if it will take off.

I would be running the family business, but due to the age of the equipment and the cost to repair it, the business has closed.

Sure u can. But u have to learn ur limitations and learn to delegate responsibilities to others under ur employment. Once u learn to do that, u can do almost anything work wise. I’m on permanent disability because of my seizures but have wondered and asked my neurologist about it. He said I could start one if I wanted but I wouldn’t be able to run the day to day operation, but I could still own one if I had ppl under me that I really trusted. So to me, that’s just ownership not something that I would feel a part of
