Telling Someone Your Having A Seizure?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question šŸ’
Cork, IE

I have quite mild seizures but even at this, I always feel the need to tell someone. Is anyone else like this? I could be at home in my room, a mild absent seizure could come on which would only last 2-3 minutes but I always call for a family member. Am I being dramatic?

Iā€™m supposed to touch my head (RNS) with a magnet every time I have a seizure, big or small. Even if I just think I had a seizure they want me to highlight it.

No you are not!! I do also! Little suggestion, keep a log book. Write down every seizure. Keep you seizures documented. Stay strong!

Nothing wrong with that. People would rather know what's going on than to have to guess.
