I've got temporal lobe seizures due to high fever. Haven't had any for 3yrs now.
These moments of stirring off or being in my own world is concerning. Always just thought i was spacey.

I have temporal lobe seizures too and I’ve been known to be staring at something and start drooling. I would still be alert but if you said something I would keep staring.

Yes many times. When I was a kid, my mom would say, that I looked like I was starring into space. She also knew I was was having a form of a seizure.

It's understandable to feel concerned about staring spells or moments of "zoning out," especially with a history of temporal lobe seizures. It's understandable to feel concerned about staring spells or moments of "zoning out," especially with a history of temporal lobe seizures. However, brief staring or being lost in thought does not necessarily mean seizure activity is occurring. Since you have not had any seizures for 3 years, this could just be normal inattention or daydreaming. But it would be wise to document how often this happens and any accompanying symptoms. If the spacing out episodes increase in frequency or you notice other concerning symptoms, consult your doctor.
