I used Tri-met when I lived in the Portland Oregon area when I was still working. After I lost work and moved over to Seaside on the coast. I could basically walk wherever I needed to go.

When I lived in the the Suburbs, and was working , I would use the the city transportations, to get me to and from my work.

When living in the rural areas of the states , can be much more harder getting around , unless you are able to use close friends or families.
