Hi, I am scheduled for a video EEG at the end of March. I wish it wasn't so far out because it's causing me some anxiety. What could the results be, and what will they do after that? Adjust meds, recommended surgical procedure or surgery? For those that had it, what did they determine and what happened next? Thank you.

I've been reading that it's not uncommon and usually harmless but can be related to sleep disorders. I haven't found epilepsy mentioned but I know some sleep disorders can lead to seizures.

98% of my seizures happen during my REM sleep usually after 3am or later in the morning. I'm pretty much on a two week cycle. I have been on numerous AEDs and nothing seems to break the cycle. Was wondering if anyone has these types of seizures and have they found a treatment that has help reduce these type of seizure activity?

I have to do a paper for school and I have to choose a personal topic that is important to me. There's a part of me that is tempted to write on how epilepsy has changed me for the better. But I'm curious does anyone else feel like epilepsy has enriched their life? Or given them nuggets of personality that makes them better? Or at all feel like epilepsy has helped them in some sort of way? If so I would love to hear about it.

Has anyone who was diagnosed later on in life with epilepsy had migraines that started at the same time. I never had a migraine in my life and since my first seizure I’ve had constant migraines which are mostly under control with propranolol but any change in dosage and I’m crippled with migraines for days.
Has anyone else been in this situation?

My husband heard about and research regarding listening to Mozart can help improve seizure frequency.It seems a bit fetched Has anyone heard of this research I'm not a classical music fan ,I use other forms of medication

I have noctornal sezuires that last 30 to 45 seconds and maybe a minute sometimes which happen in my sleep, deep sleep and I have no knowledge of them or if they happen or when except when I wake up sometimes or when I go to visit my neroligest. Asking anyone who has noctornal sezuires as primary sezuires or has had them at any time mine have never caused me any problem except the obvious life problems.
