I had an aura before I started my shift then I had a migraine straight after is it a simple partial or aura I'm confused

Hi all,

I don't write on here much, but I read a lot! I am writing an article for my next paper and I'm going to write about Aura's; I was wondering, what aura's do you experience? I usually base my columns on my own experience, but I know there are sooooo many different experiences for everyone, so I'd like to make it more of a variety. So, what do you feel before a seizure?

I had a bad day the other day and I felt depressed and I didn't care about anything. I went to my gp a few months ago to see what it is that makes me feel down. My parents an gp think that it is my hormones but I don't because I have been having these moods since I had the operation early 2015. Personally I think it's some form of depression but I don't know. Could someone please help?

I am nearly a year seziure free and want to no if anyone would start driving again ? Some advice please

For most of my life I've been having these episodes that I thought were panic attacks, but I think they may be partial seizures. I had a major attack right before my first tonic clonic three years ago. I'll get extremely nervous and tingling in my stomach. I was voted most stressed out instead of cutest couple senior year of high school (unanimously by 3 english classes).
Yoga is supposed to and it stressed me more since it was not working. how do I turn my brain off? My first bad habit (like a kid asking why) was what if... I could not stop - what if I have a seizure? what if someone sees me? what if no one likes me? - it would make you nuts!!

One of the reasons I love theater is it helps me escape reality!!

hi my gums are swollen and really sore and lately ive been starting to get problems with my teeth (im needing a root canal and fillings) and ive never had problems before. Ive read that this can be caused by keppra which i started taking a couple of years ago. I dont want to switch meds again unless i have to, its working well to control the seizures and ive been through so many in the past but i would like to keep my teeth. my gums are getting rather painful too. is there anything i can do to… read more

Bit of a weird question here but this is mainly for people who are suffering from the partial seizure's Either simple partial or partial complex (and whatever other forms they come in) but have you had a seizure where your face tenses up and you can feel the muscles tense up but it also hurts so much it actually makes you want to cry???

I haven't had a seizure in along time but I still get these monster headaches. Anyone know how to make them go away?

I started taking Fycompa and boy it turns me into a grumpy a-hole. It also makes me so dizzy it feels like I just got off an amusement park ride. I'm talking to my doctor to see if I can stop taking it. But stay away..Worst. Medication. Ever.
