Has Anyone Noticed A Change In The Frequency That Your Seizures Occur When Taking B12 Or D?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Philadelphia, PA

I have done some reading and wanted to research this more for myself. If you are/have taken B12 therapy, whether it's by shot or pills, have you noticed anything difference in regards to the frequency of your seizures? Same for D? Also, if you take a multivitamin, which would you recommend?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member

I take One A Day Viramin or Organic Vitamin Juice with a B-Complex Liquid Vitamin. My body feels great--- No seizures.

Aptiom Is My Newest Great Drug. How Is Anyone Else Doing With It?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Exeter, CA

I have taken a lot of different medications for my seizures, one or two at a time. Aptiom was added about 3 years ago and has really helped me. How about the rest of you? Is anyone else using it? How well are you doing? I am curious because usually a medicine lasts just about 3 years before I have to start looking for something else.

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Denver, CO

How long has it been since you had a seizure? Have your Doctors said it was okay to drive?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member Giving up driving can sometimes feel like giving up air. I know that is an extreme comparison, but loss of freedom is crippling.

Has Anyone Taken Medication 💊 In The Middle Of The Day ?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
West Chicago, IL

I was talking to my therapist through Phone 📱, when i realize i forgot to take my medicine. i wasn’t sure , so i went to check my pill box and sure there it was . i quickly panicked and took it (Vimpact, Briviact ,clobazam and Clonazepam) i instinctively regret it … but my body felt so off before i realized i had missed it … Now this was at 1:30ish pm . usually i take it at 8:30ish am…. so i automatically messed up my time schedule…. ugh … thoughts/opinions …
Please no judgements

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member

I was always taught with these meds especially not to take if you see you missed a dose but just take the time your schedule has you taking it I hope this helps
