I am currently waiting on an appeal date. I've been fighting for disability because I can't work. My seizures are often and they are very sporadic. It's aggravating that I'm putting so much into trying to get the disibility and it stresses me out to even think about it. Good luck darling! I hope it all works in your favor

It took me three years to finally get my disability. I was turned down about four times and kept appealing it, It finally went to some board of lawyers. They asked me in the notice if I had any more evidence. The time I had a visit with my Neurologist before I got that notice, he put in his notes that he considered me disabled neurologically and psychologically, as a manic depressive. I obtained a copy of those notes and submitted them. I think that the board was afraid I might sue them after the doctor's notes, and finally aproved it.

Don't give up it took me almost 3 years to finally get disability. I had to pay for everything but I was able to get medicare first to help with my dr bills. I know my lawyer didn't charge at first then after the second time they got there money. Have more paperwork ready even it is more than you need from the doctor it will be fine. I know it take a while but it will be fine. When it came to stress it was hard to get another job.

You need to find a doctor who is willing to help. Even better if you can find an Epileptologist ( neurologist who specialize in epilepsy.) in your area if possible. If not at least find a neurologist who is respectful and willing to help you. Another tip you may want to know when applying for SSI or SSDI you need documentation. The more you have the better chance you may have getting accepted plus the Dr's part too.

Wow!! Wednesday the 27th I go for my appeal with my lawyer and I hope 2 get it. The Doctor signed off on it. Hopefully this is the charm. It's driving My family and myself insane. The Money problems haven driven a wedge between the Wife and Me that I don't think could ever be fixed but, Maybe getting approved will be a start. Going from 107,000 between the 2 of us (My wife is also on disability due 2 a very bad pregancy). 2 next 2 nothing sux. I don't like sounding selfish but it is sucks not only for me but, everyone who is denied. Good luck 2 you and everyone else who has been denied.
