During A Job Interview, Do You Need To Inform Your Employer About Your Epilepsy?
When you are applying for a job or attending a job interview, are you informing them about your seizures or Epilepsy? Cause I believed, some employer will have second thoughts of hiring someone who have this kind of illness specially those in the medical field.
after leaving school started getting jobs then get a grand mal time for new job.actually got lucky ,my grand mals had no warning so working with machinery could have been disaterous for me..Finally being honest got me a job that said as long as i dont do certain things like nno fork truck no using saws .If i needed something there was someone around to help.Lost time because of seizures was ok.. Things worked out great that way ,so nice to be able to go to work and not worry,was doing great there,could raise a family of three children and buy house,spent 30 plus years there..had to leave and now on ssidiability due to copd lungs got me not epilepsy.

I've got trial days this week at my new job and I have cerebral palsy as well and they looked that up and then they asked me if I have epilepsy as well so I said yeah I do but they can't discriminate against you because of your epilepsy as well
