Does Anyone Else Have Difficulty With Speaking? I Often Say A Different Word Than I Want To.
I've been having difficulty speaking because the wrong words come out of my mouth. Even my family is getting tired of my mistakes. I say things wrong and it makes me upset, and then it gets worse until I'm babbling incoherently. Even my family is starting to roll their eyes and talk over me like I'm not there. This is devastating...I feel useless and forgotten.
Oh please don't feel that i have been there though but your family needs to support u and cominicating is important, talking about your difficulties that u r feeling is huge and helps u in the end i go to a therapist when i feel like that but mostly i tell some one close to me i can trust that has my 6 my back.It helps.
Many times . Especially after have a big seizure or cluster
I do and did but not seizure related, it was caused by strokes.
I do.
I'm so sorry..it sure isn't very nice is it. Talk to your pharmacist or neurologist as some seizure meds can do this as ar side effect.. maybe some seizures? My dtr in non verbal so I just know how drugged up some meds make her. Especially if the level gets too high in the blood for example Dilantin aka phenytoin.. I'm sorry my dear.. some people don't understand epilepsy or other medical issues. Maybe they're just very busy and don't realize they're upsetting you. In this busy world patience I'd hard to come by as much we get everything immediately.. fast food texts TV computers.. sending big hugs. Do you have other family to talk you like grandparents or aunts original uncles? It's good your able to talk about it here.. xo
