Does Anyone Else Feel A "Deja Vu" Before They Have A Seizure?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Salem, OR

Sometimes it is a feeling like I have been in that same exact spot, looking at the same exact thing I have seen in a dream. Sometimes I even wake up to a "Deja Vu" and feel nausea and like I have to diarrhea at the same time.

My seizures start with a deja vu every time.Even if the seizure is for only a fleeting moment. that feeling of familiarity feels good yet is very scary.

I do and sometimes I feel amnesia after the seizure ends and I can't remember much.

I have that sensation as well. Other times, it feels like an out-of-body experience.

I immediately get a feeling if I am awake otherwise I get a feeling like tonight might be the night and usually I am spot on. Something just doesn’t feel right sometimes.
