I am on Lamotrigine. I have thoughts in my brain that won't go away.I don't know what's causes it.

I've been on both at the same time in the past. Lamictal for seizures and depression. The xanax was for my anxiety though. I hated the lamictal! It didn't seem to do much for the seizures and seemed to make my depression worse. I just felt "flat" the whole time I was on it. Xanax didn't cause any problems, but I switched to valium because it worked better and had the added benefit of helping when I was having multiple auras or partial seizures in a day.
