Botox For Headaches

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Bedford, MA

Hi everyone, I've been dealing with migraines all my life and I'm trying to research and look up all the options I have. Botox has come up a lot and I was wondering If anyone else has gotten he procedure and if it was helpful. I know this procedure can go either way and I wanted to see other people experiences.

My neurologist did the Botox injections on me and they helped the migraines. I didn’t have any side effects but everyone is different.

botox is a steroid. i was suggest botox for my arm (results from the brain surgery) but i read that it is worst than 10 keppra rages. my stepdad was given steroids and he got really bad for weeks. and then they did it all over again for a lot of months.
but i am a combo of a research everything and a health nut. do your own research.
