Who Is Trying CBD Oil In Addition To Their Regular Antiseizure Meds?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Tidewater VA

What dosage are you taking?
What brand do you take?
How long have you taken it?
What effects both good and bad have you noticed?
Is your doctor on board with it?

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member there is a lot of copycat cbd oil. and some of um used a lot of flavor and little cbd oil. or its the strength. koi cbd oil has 100, 250, 500, and 1,000 mg. i tried the 250 and it helped a little but 500 is the sweet spot.

Bryan, yes I love to research and not sure why but this just confuses the heck out of me. I got lost at the "and 500 mg=30 ml........".in your post above.

That is ok, I called Charlottes Web today and found out that 2 droppers is one serving - 2 droppers is 17 mg, even though label says 23 mg per serving. Apparently it is 23 mg per serving which includes the 17 mg cbd oil and the other is the other ingredients.

Thank you for your input. Really do appreciate it.

Epileptologist today ok'd him taking full dose to see if it helps with stress, etc. which in turn hoping to help with other. I am going to keep him on half that and see if she will chk his blood levels of meds to make sure it does not affect them as I read today it is possible.

Have a fantastic evening

Hello,
I have been using CBD for a few years now. I have tried several brands. It has not helped my seizures go away, BUT I recover so fast it is amazing! I feel cognizant even after I have a grand mal. I rarely feel brain fog and can form sentences. I can normally go back to work within a day or two and it used to take me weeks to a month. I feel like I can go back to work the next day to be honest, but I stare at a computer for my job and since my eyes hurt so bad after a seizure I want to give them a break.

As far as the dosage goes tho.... I still have NO IDEA, and I don't know if it really matters. I will say I always do the highest dose and take at least one dropper a day. When I first started, I took the Isolate with MedTerra which I really liked and then started taking the full spectrum from CBDistillery, then the Charlottes Web from BALANCE. Then I saw that the Charlotte's Web I'm taking wasn't testing their soil. So even though I do like it, I bought another brand Lazarus which I haven't started yet, it's a lower mg but I like how natural it is. Anyway, I think this is the last one I'm going to try since I will have gone full circle, each one about 6 months and then I will let you know. I have done a lot of other things to help as well tho, so I'm writing it all down in my journal and can't wait to share.

Since we are our own guinea pigs it's kind of a process you know?

I don't believe in natural products because I've tried many over the past 40 years and no improvements
