You may want to talk to your Dr. and ask what type of Epilepsy you were diagnosed with . It sounds to me you have photosensitive Epilepsy.

Yes . Fast flicking lights, strobe lights, video game and many other things can cause photosensitive seizures.

Could be
Photophobia aka light sensitivity. Common with epileptics as well.
Bright lights, flashing lights, the sun, floursecents bulbs, headlights, iPhone screen, PC screen, too many bright lights on at home...
Sun blinking through the trees while in a car. Not seizures from, just annoyed and uncomfortable, need to remove myself from situation.
I got this problem. The eye doctor agreed and got me a special tint for my glasses.

Does sound like photosensitive epilepsy My husband put some white flashing lights up outside ! Don't suffer from PSE but flashing lights annoy me ,if I go to a play or concert I have to close my eyes& cover with my hand
