Phantom Smells With Seizures Or Not Around Seizures?
Smell is a weird thing for me , I be never had a sense of smell before this past of fall, and it comes and goes in episodes, but I have heard that sometimes with people with epilepsy have phantom smells either right before or after their seizures. Yesterday and today I am having another period where I can smell and taste, and I've experienced phantom smells twice. Strong smells would make me bring on a seizure I used to hold my breath if my neighbor one time had strong smells coming out of her apartment I just watch myself around strong smells x x
Sounds like you’re experiencing auras. Some may experience you phantom smells , others experience something different. I have a friend who experiences , hear electric guitars 🎸 playing. Then there are many others the feel or sense something different.
I didnt know phantom smells were a thing. I have in the past year smelled stuff that my husband or family hasn't. I just thought it was an after affect of my seizures because my taste buds are messed up for a really long time after. I dont rwcal having seizures right after phantom smells but now i will add it to.my logs in case a patter exist
I did when i was younger. I would have an aura then a seizure and a different smell afterwards. I think we all experience at one time in our life.
Does Anyone Know What Its Suppposed To Feel Like Right Before You Have A Seizure? All Of Mine Have Been In My Sleep Except For The Last Two.
