What Do Y’all Do For Transportation?
For those of you who don’t drive, especially if you live alone, what do you do for transportation? My mom and stepdad have been taking me to and from work mostly, and occasionally a friend who lives near my work. This has been working for now, but it won’t forever. How do y’all get to and from work, the store, medical appointments, and recreational activities? Public transit in my city is garbage, and Lyft and Uber rides add up after a while.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member Can you tell me more about this ACCESS BUS? Is this a national thing in all US cities?

Good Luck !! You can find more information by GOOGLE. This is where I found this. I now know it's not just available where I live. So yes, it's probably available to all cities!!

My city and public transportation are scrap seeing there are only certain places I can get dropped off and cabs and left and all that do add up .I use to have my dad take me to the store and my kids when they were living with me and I can't work so I don't have a problem with that and all winter am mostly inside unless there's something going on where my mom or daughter has to pick me up and seeing it gets dark at 5 o clock in the afternoon other than that right now I walk or ride my bike as I live close to convince stores and grocery stores and restaurants and the usual places I go and I never really go far unless it's really important or something I really want to do and I can get ride from a friend or my brother or daughter or mom. Not really thinking that far into the future.
