Has Anyone Had A Device Implante To Help Stop There Seizures.
Example a RNS device that is put inside your brain and the device is then put underneath your skull. Has it help decrease or even stop anyone's seizures.
I know there are many epileptics who have the RNS or the VNS implanted, many on here. It would depend on the type, severity and number of seizures a person has, different types of brain scans, the part of the brain the seizures come from, and whether you have exhausted all the medication options for it, to name a few variables. In some cases an implanted nerve simulator is a last resort, and it can work to reduce or even stop someone’s seizures altogether. But not in all cases, so it should to be considered very carefully.

I have had both the V.N.S. and now the R.N.S. They completely removed a chunk of my skull and placed the R.N.S. in the hole.
The DBS is scary for me so I’ve had the vns and saved my life
In 2005 I had the VNS ( Vagus Nerve Stimulator ) surgery/treatment. It didn’t work well in my case.
August of this year ( 2022 ) , I had the DBS ( Deep Brain Stimulator ) surgery/treatment. I’m still waiting for my appt., to program the implanted device. In my chest
