Me too. I'm a massive insomniac. Dr put me on Lunesta and it helped massively. It helps not only fall asleep but stay asleep. Ambien only helps fall asleep. So I switched!

SharronAshcroft, Are you taking anything new, have new stress or activity, or doing something differently in the last couple of weeks? Any allergies? I am on lamotrigine, which is the generic form of the brand name Lamictal (from the one that the company that first developed it). Generics can behave differently, depending on how how they are manufactured. Some meds stop working as well because our body builds up a tolerance. I am lucky that it still works for me. I take Lamotrigine.
100 mg.
One pill in the morning and 2 at night.
It gives me gas!
I also take Levetiracetam.
1,000 mg. Pills.
One and a half pill in the morning and at night.
