Joyce, took me 2 1/2 years with a lawyer. Don't give up!

Keep fighting if your going after disability they deny everyone. Get a lawyer they can be a huge help and take stress off of you.

I'll agree, it's not easy to make the decision to stop working and apply for social security. However, you need to do what is best for your health. I knew with auras and drowsiness besides the seizures I couldn't work as it seem on a day to day basis. I'd start applying as it may take couple times. Hope your lucky and get accepted the 1st time I applied. Good luck

Yes I’m on on SSDI . It may take more than once, to get accepted . At least try and get SSI. If you have worked a lot of hours you may be eligible for SSDI .

For me it’s good that I’m on Social Security. I’m not in a easy area to find nor get to a job. But when I lived in the cities , I had no trouble getting to work. Whether it was by walking, riding my bike, or thawing the city bus.
