Counting Seizures?
How do you count seizures I'm using the app suggested epilepsy journal .
Do you count each time it starts then ends or do you count one seizure episode as a one seizure?
Because I have multiple periods where the seizure starts then ends then starts again but when I record it it's recorded as one seizure.
I figured I will just add in the notes section how many times the seizures started then ended as I can't really press stop and record during a seizure have to wait till it completely stops.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, it is very hard to be accurate. You can only do the best you can and make adjustments to what is going to work for you. If the app doesn't work, try another one until you are comfortable with it. Just like the meds, it's going to take trial and error.
For me, i keep track of the date and the time it starts. During the seizure i am not aware enough to say when it stops and i will fall asleep. When i come back to my senses, i can only guess. I don't know what app you are using. In your case Nada, if you can record when it stopped and the length of time, you are doing better than me.
If you know when you seizures from beginning of it to the end of it that’s one .I you know the the time length of your seizures, that can help your Dr. Too.
i have 4 sizure types (aura, simple, complex, grand mal) so i go as fallows: (this is just an excample)

I've Been Having This Funny Feeling Going On In My Head All Day For Weeks Now Like Am Just Off Kneel And Not There.
Does Anyone Else Refuse To Go To The Hospital If They Have A Grand-Mal Seizure Or Reminents Of A Grand-Mal Seizure (such As A Migraine)?
