Has Anyone Experienced Not Be Able To Drive Due To Your Epilepsy? Also When They Were Able To Get Driving Privileges Back?
I was an off-and-on driver. I had no seizures in high school so the first two years went pretty good. Then I had a lot of times where I couldn't drive until I went seizure-free for six months. In December, 2000, I had a temporal lobectomy and have been seizure-free ever since. The first license plate after my surgery I had OTRA 4 put on it (On The Road Again) in April.
One more thing...after I went two years seizure-free, I wanted to take a long trip and drive the whole way. I set up a route to stop at seven baseball stadiums and was ready to go by myself. My sons weren't excited to see me drive that far. They still had visions of their pre surgery dad so they made sure mom was going with me. 😜

I’m in my 40’s and I haven’t driven a single time my whole life. I’ve had seizures ever since I was 10 years old. I live with my parents and they drive me everywhere.
Thank you all for sharing your experiences
After I crashed two full size trucks I had to give up driving
I miss it as we live out from town and unable to get a ride
