How Can The Knumbness Affect How A Person Feels?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Montclair, CA

I was having seizures since I was 5 days old. I had brain surgery in 1990. I've been having some knumbness in my head on the left side. My neurologist told me that the knumbness is my brain is still healing. I'm glad that I now know what the knumbness is because it was making me feel nervous. I was wondering if the knumbness was a seizure.

Yes it's on the left side of my head. Once in a while I get the knumbness on both sides of my head.

Is the left side where you had surgery? I get feelings every once in a while that somewhat resemble seizures but I was told not to worry about it.

Good question ! My nerve cells near my ear are still numb since 1991. Doesn’t cause a problem below the area normal and above!
