I’m 51 and going through menopause. I have hot 🥵 flashes. Body heat is always high. My seizures are changing. I get numbness on my right side but that is it. ( I thought at first I was having a stroke). But no, thank goodness 😅
Also I have absence ones. I have my gmals at night.
I’m on quite a bit of medication.
1100 carbamazepine
1750 Divalpoex per day.
Yoga 🧘 and walking has helped me.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , I’m 45 & currently going through menopause & the Hot 🥵 Flashes are Awful! Last year I use to have to take an ice pack with me to bed cause I would get so hot that it would interrupt my sleep & keep me from sleeping & of course that made me worry about having a seizure. I don’t think my seizures have increased though. My seizures aren’t as frequent or severe as some peoples, however, I don’t have auras & so I don’t always know I’ve had a seizure unless I notice something is odd or someone witnesses it like my Mom or stepdad who I still live at home with. My hot flashes are worse at night. My Family doctor is trying to find a medication to help with them. She’s got me on Prozac 20mg right now & recently increased it to 40mg to try & see if that helped more but it has a side effect of Strange Dreams & tiredness & I was experiencing both & so until we can find another med I’m making due with the 20mg Prozac once a day. But those dreams are weird! They’re slowly going away after I stopped the 40mg. I haven’t had a cycle since August 2022. Don’t know if I answered your question but that’s a little of what I’m having to deal with right now. Your friend in Texas, Becky
