Five years seizure-free here, but in the beginning, as they were trying meds, I had strong breakthrough auras on Keppra, and would add 1000mg with each aura event. At 4000mg/day of Keppra, they began adding Dilantin. I felt I was being poorly managed, so I fired that team and went with an epileptologist who saw how overmedicated I was. Currently on Lamictal and Klonopin. Nothing at all since late 2018, and I can function again.

Yes, on a regular basis for 18 years since being diagnosed. Tried almost every seizure med out there, Keto diet, THC, great doctors, etc... For some of us, maybe the seizures will never go away. For others, they will. The best doctors in the country can't understand or explain why....
