Paranoia After Seizure

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Louisville, KY

I would like to ask a question. When you have a seizure, does anyone else get really paranoid about anything? For me, it is my bills. After a seizure I forget I have paid my monthly bills and within a day or so after a seizure, I will repay one or two. Twice recently I have paid my rent twice, thankfully, I have a very understanding owner who calls and checks on me to see if I want her to return the check. Last month I paid my water bill and my electric bill twice. Not only does it make me feel… read more

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Rochester, NY

I have been waking up with horrible migraines like 5 out of the 7 days a week. I take Lamictal and Topamax. I know Topamax is supposed to help with headaches so that's weird. My Dr. had me do a study to make sure I wasn't have seizures in my sleep and I'm not. Does anyone else have this issue?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Lincoln, NE

What is your story on being diagnosed am asking because I think I am on the other side of things with my co-worker I think I have seen hers and she is not diagnosed Her doctor told her she didn’t know what was wrong with her. I told her to see a neurologist and get a new doctor but I don’t think she will listen to me. We Have Our Way To Get Our Meds , You Ever Had To Pay Out Of Pocket For Them, For Whatever The Cause Was,?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Englewood, CO

I've had it happen to me a couple of times, I am not sure if it was my insurance with, my copay, or the company was short of supply not having enough, but I have and was a little expensive I'd say, out of pocket is a bit expensive and ran a pretty penny, it's happened a little while ago but not recently, what are your thoughts here?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member

Yes. I always had to pay for my meds until I finally signed up with Pharmacare to find a doctor- since then they paid for my meds. Too bad I didn't do it earlier.
