My surgical team is suggesting that I see one, I was referred to one but we did NOT click well at all. She would ask a question before I was able to answer she would always interrupt me as if she knew more about my body and symptoms than I did.
If it helps any I’m located in Portland OR.

It's dif per person, my current doc I have is good doc and person I think, she is informative about what she does with her patients, she is a caring and concerned doc as well, she is what the question here is asking, I'm not sure if she is a psychologist as for the question here, but the way i see it she is in my opinion, she told me three times when I went to her at my appointments that if I had any problem you'll let me know, and I did after I had a seizure and hurt my back and called her up, that to me is a well respected person and doc I appreciate someone that's does things like that I didn't expect but did, she I have had now for about 5 1/2 yrs now, she is open person and doc when it comes to you and your health and well-being etc, that is my opinion here,

Very good to have a psyche Dr to help mind bout epilepsy. If didn't click with new one try another. You don't want to live in depression or get any anxiety. Many health issues cause this so many Drs out there to help with this.
