Has Anyone Dealt With Seeing Yourself Take Your Medication, And Later Realizing You Didn't Take Your Medication?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have had moments where I would be doing something, and see myself taking my medication, when in reality, when I do check to see if I did or not, I have or haven't taken it at all.

I suppose years ago I would forget to take my meds. I did use a daily pill organizer in the past. Right now pill time is as automatic as breathing. 8am first dose, 8pm second dose. I most time take my meds without thinking much about it.

I just have a pill box so if can't remember just check it. I wouldn't attribute it to memory loss from epilepsy its just normal to forget.

Yes, distractions seem to interfere with me remembering or doing.

Like making a new recipe and having to re read the measurements or steps over and over and over. My family distracts me in this case or company over. It's hard to do two things and be completely focused on both. I set timers for meds... I'm not sure if that would help.
