Here's A ? When Prescribed A New Medication From Your Doc Or A Physician At Hospital,, Do You Wonder How May React With Your Seizures?
I have over the years have been put on antibiotics for pneumonia, strep throat, covid, bronchitis, didn't seem to bother me, a little bit of the side effects they had, but little. Didn't effect my epilepsy that much if any., I was put on pain killers also, a couple with codeine, and Tylenol 3 and 4 but didn't bother me, my opinion , what your thoughts?
Philipp Rich, in my experience some years ago I found out that after a seizure that I would smoke a small bowl of Cannabis. My recovery time was cut by half. What I mean is it would take me eight hours to recover from the seizure. After a bowl of cannabis, it took 4 hours. Now I am not encouraging anyone to follow the path I've taken. But I live in a different state now and things are different. It's a red state if that explains anything.
I always ask the Doctor if it may effect the Epilepsy Meds
Keep in mind...CBD interacts with many AED's..peace and blessings in the air..
What I was told as well. All part of the same system of hospitals to where they communicate. But being Dr's are still allowed to do xyz and there are fine lines everywhere you go π . Hyper happy you are on top of it though bruv
Ciprofloxacin can create seizures in epileptics. I had a episode of status epilepticus and learned this myself. Sulfa Antibiotics I'm allergic to and others as well..in unrelated matters from Ciprofloxacin..
Muscle relaxers can and will reduce seizure threshold. One would need to correspond with their neurologist on this. Pain killers I stay away from, for personal matters of chronic pain. Besides medical cannabis.
When Given A New Med Are You Going To Take It As Say Right Away As Your Doc Said Or After Get Home Kinda Reluctant To? I Just Curious
