Have You Been At Your Docs Appt, And Your Doc Bring Up A Treatment Or Test You Didn't Expect And Stayed And Did It, Or Would Reschedule It?
A hypothetical? Here, say a basic exam and your doc said this is something we need to do sooner or later, and say the test or treatment was a hr and 15 minutes long, what would you do? And you would be ok and let go from the medical center, and head home, ps not having anything else planned. I would do it I think, the sooner the better my opinion, what are your thoughts?
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member This is literally what it was like when I was at then medical center. It was like you are having a conversation with some one that's going nowhere then all of a sudden you say something then suddenly the dr takes intrust. It's like sure don't worry about the 5 other things I just said but yeah do that.
Fortunately my doctor has been very straight forward with me especially knowing that I don't easily trust other doctors if I need something done he makes sure if my insurance covers it if I have a copay if I can get additional help if copay is high most important will the test actually make a difference that he feels it's worth it he has told me there are doctors unfortunately that will want you to get test done just to charge when in reality it won't give any benefit to the patient.
I would like to go along the same treatment plan as the physician provides however..
I have to check various things such insurance coverage etc
If it was my Neurologist I would do whatever she asked. She is the first Dr. I have ever had to whom I can put my full trust and faith. It took me years but I feel truly blessed.
I would do it sooner. Mainly because I want the results sooner.
If You Are On A Med And Have Both The Name Brand And Generic, And Are Taking Both, Does It Show Dif During Your Levels Taken Get Drawn?
