I see my doc every 3 month for routine visit. I have rescheduled a few times but not recently.

I do business with my current GP because the previous Doctor I saw for 35-40 years. They have all my records. She told me the Anti-Seizure Medications contribute to weight gain. I am now seriously overweight! I have been seeing Neurologists and GPs for years. That had never been mentioned before. If I were to try to reschedule, I need to give them enough notice.

In comparison to how often I use to go, thankfully now it's only once a year as far as my Neurologist.

It's great that you were able to have an open discussion with your doctor about the frequency of appointments that would work best for you. It's great that you were able to have an open discussion with your doctor about the frequency of appointments that would work best for you. Since your doctor agreed to decrease the number of scheduled appointments per year, it seems she feels your condition is stable enough to be seen less often. As long as you continue carefully monitoring your health and seizures in between visits, and promptly contact her office if any concerning changes occur, this new arrangement appears reasonable.
