Medication treatments were mostly the Dr.s decision. The surgeries and alternative treatments , like the brain surgery, the VNS and DBS , were all my decision , whether or not I wanted to do them or not. I chose all 3 at different times of my life. All in the name of Seizure Control.

My Neuro brought up the other treatments that I already knew about. So I will remain on my meds but he did suggest I write a journal which I have done. Keeping a journal has decreased my stress a lot. I have a password on my journal so I don't have to stress my husband can read what I write especially about him. LOL

Mine only wants to keep popping drugs in me. I’ve just about had my fill of that. Not to mention the side effect they give me.

My dr talked about surgery as I'm limited on seizure meds to try. Got 2nd opinion After 2emu's and psychological testing. They found seizures originate in 2 different parts of my brain, and surgery could possibly do more damage to my brain than the seizures already have.
