Dose Anyone Have A RNS Stimulator.
Have you seen how good it works compared to the VNS system I have had mine for nine months and I already see a difference between the two

I’ve had an RNS for 5 or 6 years. I used to have the VNS before I got the RNS. We never saw any improvements with my seizures when I had the VNS so I had another surgery getting the VNS removed. I do believe my seizures have decreased some with the RNS so I do believe there is a difference.

I first had an SEEG and now have had an RNS for 4 or 5 years. It didn’t make my memory any worse.
I want the RNS, but was cautioned the SEEG testing could make me lose some cognitive function. Amy experience with that?
I have the VNS while it works.
It has been suggested that I have the RNS or a brain resection 🤕
I wouldn't even consider either one... because of what those entail and possibilities of side effects...
