As For Our Condition We Have, Are You Ok With It In Your Life Or Not Yet?

At first when I didn't know what I had I wasn't, but after the diagnosis and the years gone by I am ok with the condition I have, I don't like when they come about, but I know what to expect how to handle them, I know that there no cure for the condition I have, but I adjusted as I have to deal with the condition I have in my life with, what are your thoughts on the? Here.

I’ve had my condition for 30 years now from a TBI. I had to change my career and adjust. But I’ve been with an amazing husband that has accepted me with my epilepsy. I have a very healthy daughter.
My attitude is
“If you can’t control it, don’t let it control you “

I have dealt with it for 53 years. I am used to it. But I can say after being seizure free for over 6 years it's kind of "weird" not having seizures all the time everyday!

I don't think anyone is ok with having epilepsy. It is the hand we're dealt and have to accept it and learn to live with it. Accept what your disorder allows you to do and make those your strengths and talents. Surround yourself with people who love you and accept you for who you are and not being defined by epilepsy.

People sometimes challenge me saying I can't do something. Challenge accepted and I prove them wrong.

No, it's bad. Kinda hard to get used to. No matter how long I've had them. But ya still gotta deal with it the best way you can. I laugh and listen to music. I do believe we all have a purpose so this was supposed to happen. But my favorite condition, it's air condition. Yall have a good weekend.

I accepted my epilepsy at the age of 16. I've had it now for 51 years. Nothing will stop me fighting to find compatible medication no matter how much longer I have the condition.
