Excitement and Happiness can cause seizures on my end. But I’ve never ever had a happy seizure

I used to have several seizures while playing bingo with my grandma. It could have been that when I was down to one number I’d get all excited and have a seizure or it could have been the stress of that number showing up. You know what bingo can be like don’t you @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member. Your Kansas Colleague, Sean

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member Meds Are Not The Best Way For Everyone To Rely On. Our Minds & Bodies Function Differently

Good to know any high level of excitement can, not just stress. We need to rely on meds to control any seizure for any reason. Not avoid having fun out of fear of one. Ease mind by learning how our seizures affect us best to cope with them. My only restriction is not driving even a small one is then dangerous. Other than that know its just a brief time that passes then we're fine.

For sure excitement of any type may cause a seizure. Wnen going out, having fun at concert or playing games.Emotions excite the brain whether good or bad ones. Trying to rein them in worry bout worry just restricts us needlessly..Remember meds will keep seizures in control best not what we do or think.
