As For The Medical Treatment And Such Etc, We're Making Progress I Think, But What About Now Meds And Treatment And Your Opinion On It?

I don't really see nothing against it , I think we've come a good step since back in the day and their technology and techniques, also medicine and what is new nowadays, I usually don't? The medical system and the treatment and such etc, now and then, but I think it's moving forward in a slow but getting there way, more than a while ago and I am ok with that, my opinion, what are your thoughts?

It all depends on the medication you take. I do not know how new Keppra is but it is no good for me. I went back to the Tegretol CR which I had starting in about 1966 - it may be old but it is still good for me and the frisium also.

I know what you mean. I’ve had seizures for over 30 years and have proven to be drug resistant.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I’m so over have having to keep changing to different meds I’ve had several change overs over the years it’s not even funny. I think the next time something needs to be done I’m going to request to either have the rns or vns put in me. I will be adamant about it. I always have issues when I have to change to a different one and dmv took me off the road for a year because of it.

I have seen so much advancement for others for which I am so grateful. As for myself, my seizures are so infrequent that medication is still the best treatment for me.

I’ve been through so many meds for my epilepsy it’s not even funny. I’m impressed with both the vns and rns systems to control seizure activity. My neurologist has said they both work with the meds. But that’s not what I’ve read on the website. Especially the rns system. I’m really impressed with the rns system. .
