I besides my condition of epilepsy I have and other experiences also with the medical field etc have not had a time where it was something we didn't discuss about or a alternative method of treatment for me and it worked out, meds as well, I feel like a actual patient and person since my last doc, I don't have nothing against the medical field etc, but what are your thoughts here? Some places are dif, like a hospital and their staff, and your own personal doc my opinion,

They stopped giving me different medications after my brain operation in 2017. They played with the medication levels, but never changed the medication since day one in 2014. The cocktail of Phenytoin, Divalproex and Clonazepam levels was the only things they changed.

I have tried the medications my doctors have recommended to varying degrees of affect. I am now on a new cocktail which I hope works.

If it’s my doctor then ok. But if it’s someone I don’t know then I would have to do some research. I’ve been in the ER a number of times and they always used to change my meds usually up the dosage or add a new one. Now there’s a note on my chart saying no med changes.

I know the reasoning of changing my medication. It’s always been changed , because I was on my max dose of medication and my seizures may of worsen. Then there is my refractory Epilepsy ( Resistance to the medication ) , which makes it hard for the meds to work 100% .
