I was discussing the topic of what does one do if you are running out of the medications you are on,then what, I thank people here and their advice and support that you have given me and others here, but I found out that my facility where my doc was and see had a pharmacy but thought it was lets say special needs for certain people, but wasn't the case, I got seen and was almost out of the levaceratum med and she asked if I wanted to get it filled downstairs at the pharmacy, I am ok that… read more

My old practice had a pharmacy in the building, but my insurance required that I use CVS.

The clinic I go to does not have a pharmacy so I just get my meds from London Drugs. They are open 7 days week so I can get it anytime. I always got my meds from London Drugs before I started all my moving.

The GP or neurologist I see doesn't have a pharmacy in their buildings. In the past I have used Walgreens and a location for HyVee, a regional grocery store. Both kept on running out of my Keppra and I advised them how important it was to have that medication on hand. They understood, but had problems with their suppliers. I called a different store branch and found they had no problems getting the medication in. So I switched stores and have been happy since.

My one med is filled by the pharmacy in my doctors building. The rest at a local pharmacy that stinks. They are always out of two controlled meds I take and it’s very frustrating.

There is a pharmacy in the same sitting room for my doctor but I choose the pharmacy across the road from where I live. Also, my doctor prefers a phone interview visit, so the pharmacy close to home works best.
