I was given temperature seizures as a child, but then the alcoholic father stopped all orders. The normal is not normal. I was the one in ten that got it back as an adult, and much much earlier then most I got it back at puberty. I was diagnosed at 20. I never got to have the normal adult years that people get. I finally had surgery at 30. I am now 10 years seizure-free and I am going on for my Masters degree. My parents never were voting for me it was always you will never be anything. You will never accomplish this. My senior year of my bachelor's degree I had 12 classes and had 12 A's as grades, including one that was a 104% as a final grade.

Dave my parents raised me to be a normal kid. Put. Normal in every way, I was expected to do chores, homework, and help clean up the house just like a normal kid with two working parents. They weren't ogres about it They wanted what was bestfor all of us. And they raised 4 strong men. ericthom3

I was in the accident when in high school, it being so severe I couldn't complete. When better at being able to get around as used too went back to school in Charlotte to complete. Was still too difficult for me, so when in my early 30's went to the community college and to take test and passed.

I'm sorry to hear that. But now you have time to reflect on another possible career. Its not good to be working with electric when having seizures. Maybe you could write a book about your experience. Blessings 😃

Earlier childhood my teachers said I daydreamed a lot. In middle school and high school, the doctor put me in Adaptive PE classes as I was experiencing more severe seizures. I was an introvert so I just made the best of it! 👍😃
