Yes, it is common for women with epilepsy to experience urinary incontinence or wetting the bed during seizures. As shared by members on MyEpilepsyTeam, many women wake up after a seizure to find that they have wet themselves or the bed. This happens because the abnormal electrical activity in the brain during a seizure can disrupt signals that control bladder function. Both tonic-clonic and absence seizures may cause a loss of control over bladder muscles leading to accidental urination.

Stephanie Same for me no matter how small. Tried all kinds of bulky pads but no luck. Then new panty like products tried + was amazed how well worked yet so thin. My daughter saw me in tight jeans asked why no pad? Also was amazed by, even have bikini ones too. Urge you to try to eliminate this worry once felt worst part of any seizure too.

Don't agree with the AI answer loss of bladder control is common for both sexes. Not very up to date are some AI answers. Site info bout how to handle was 'updated' 2 years ago as well.

I know I’m not a female but there was a time, when I was 13 years old, and I was in school. I needed to use the restroom so I got up and asked my teacher if I could. He said “No” so I sat back down at my desk. The next thing I knew I looked down and my pants were soaked. I got up and waved my teacher out the door. I showed him my pants and told him that I just had a seizure. I went to the office and called my mom. She brought me a new set of clothes and while she was there she had a talking to with that teacher. He promised if I ever asked to use the restroom again he’d let me.
