Many MyEpilepsyTeam members have shared advice on getting approved. It's great you have a lawyer representing you. Legal counsel can help speed up the process. Be sure to provide lots of documentation from your doctors about your condition and how it affects your ability to work. Keep appealing if you are denied again. With persistence and the right evidence, many people eventually get approved.

It’s great you have a lawyer. Here are some other things that might help:
Get a letter from your neurologist explaining what you have and maybe, your limitations If your neurologist works in a hospital, it might be easy to also get a social worker to help.
Check out this government site as well

Best of luck!

Let your social security lawyers take care of the fighting, just come up with paperwork and evidence they want. Took me from when I turned 18 yrs old till I hit my mid-late 20's to finally get it and that was after I had kids and applied more then I could remember. Then finally got it because I couldn't get any job @ all due to I was the liable and dangerous person out of any, couldn't get or drive a car because I didn't have or hold a car or legal license and never had any work experience to back me in getting any job. Then as I fighted and waited got older, more kids and have anywhere from 6-12 or more of my seizures taking 4-6 pills a day trying to just calm it down so I can have and enjoy any life I got dealing with this disorder month by month trying to keep mind on and love family I do.πŸ™πŸ«‚πŸ€·
