If you feel like you are going to have a seizure but don't, it's important to take note of any auras or warning signs you experienced. Keep a journal to track symptoms, triggers, sleep, moods, medications, etc. to help identify seizure triggers. Avoiding triggers like lack of sleep, stress, caffeine, alcohol, flashing lights for photosensitive epilepsy can help prevent future seizures. When a seizure feels imminent but doesn't occur, stay calm, go somewhere safe if needed, and let friends/family know how you're feeling. Getting rest afterwards can help. If seizures persist, contact your doctor about medication adjustments or other treatment options.
